Retro Cases

Retro Cases

With the power of 3d printing, I am able to bring vintage, legendary pc designs back to life with modern hardware. The hallmark design aspects of these computers are preserved whenever possible, but I have also taken the creative liberty to add my own flair to these retro-modern cases. Below you can see several of these designs!

APPLE II

The Apple II is the definition of a legend, one of the "big three" that led the charge towards computers in the home in the 1970's. My dad had one, his friends had one, heck, the neighbors had one. I've always been fascinated by the clean lines of the case, and tried to keep the same design spirit while adapting it to fit a smaller STX case. Threaded inserts and PLA plastic were used to create the main body + top, while extra vents were included for airflow.

Recommended Hardware:

  • Plastic: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA
  • Screws: M3 Button Head 6mm
  • Insert: McMasterCarr Heatset M3 Inserts
