About Me: 

Hey! I’m a recent college grad and currently work at Tacta Systems, a robotics company. It’s very fun and I get to wear a lot of hats, including mechanical system design, electro-mechanical manufacturing machines, hands-on fabrication (welding, programming/operating a Brother U500xD2 CNC, etc…) Every day is a new challenge and opportunity to become a more versatile and well-rounded engineer.

Skills/Interests:

• [CAD] Fusion 360, Solidworks, NX - design for sheet metal, subtractive, additive, weldments, etc.

• [Machining] - 3/5 Axis Mill (3+2 and 5-axis simultaneous), Turret/Toolpost Lathe - complex, tight tolerance components in difficult materials, challenging geometries, and lots of custom fixture deisgn

• [Fabrication] TIG/MIG welding, most metal/woodshop tools, experience with planning, designing, and executing a wide variety of structural designs

• [Software Stuff] MatLab, Python, Siemens TIA Portal, Affinity, etc… I enjoy learning new programs and implementing them into my daily workflow to become more efficient and clearly articulate my ideas to others.
